Ohio eLicense Portal New Firm Application Instructions Temporary permits are generally granted within 7 business days and would be active for 90 days or until your full application goes to the Board for approval. You do have the option in the online application to request a temporary permit. These applications go to the Board for approval and the full process may take up to 60 days depending on board meeting schedules.
If your firm has never held a Certificate of Authorization (COA) in the state of Ohio, you will need to complete an application for a new COA.
