Instead of having you download the game to your own system to play, PlayStation Now "runs" the games on banks of servers/consoles across the nation and sends you a video stream of what your TV should display. While I'm sure that will be easier here than with Netflix - the PS3 market is shrinking, and there is no competing service at the moment - don't be shocked when the day comes that you learn you won't be able to play a particular game any more. Your continued enjoyment of "Sonic the Hedgehog Episode 4 Part 1" is dependent on Sony and Sega maintaining a deal to keep the game on the service.
Keep in mind that as with Netflix Instant, you don't actually have any ownership rights to the games you play. You'll notice that no Activision, Electronic Arts or Ubisoft titles are pictured, which suggests the three largest third-party publishers/developers aren't on board at this time. This isn't even counting smaller publishers, such as Telltale Games ("The Walking Dead") and whoever gave unto us "Spelunky."
